Abstract

The process for making concrete work piece of Thai architecture nowadays is to mix the sculpting
(molding a figure) to make formwork method and casting work piece from concrete method with different styles
of formwork making and concrete casting. Which mostly use cement formwork and silicone formwork. Learn
from the ancestor by word of mouth without collecting the information and the systematic research

The researcher studies and compares the concrete casting from cement formwork and silicone formwork
of Prajamyam of the church of Suan Santitham temple.

The first step of the research is making formwork from the original work piece. The researcher found
that work pieces from cement formwork and silicone formwork are different.The result of the basic experiment
is silicone formwork can make a whole work piece but cement formwork cannot make it because silicone
formwork is flexible but cement formwork is hard and fragile. The basic conclusion is the original work piece
cannot make cement formwork. The researcher analyses characteristic of the design can have differential effect

to the demolding from two kinds of formworks for doing the comparative research of concrete casting with
cement formwork and silicone formwork.
The analysis process, there are three characteristic variations : depth, sharpness, and slope of the

original design with up side position which effect to keep the original design of top view (master work piece)
after demolding.

The conclusion, there are seven original models for molding with silicone formwork and cement formwork
for the comparative research of concrete casting with silicone formwork and cement formwork.

ปัจจุบัน ด้วยเทคโนโลยีการก่อสร้างที่พัฒนาทั้งอุปกรณ์ กรรมวิธี และวัสดุ โดยเฉพาะการก่อสร้างด้วยเทคโนโลยี

จากการสารวจภาคสนามพบว่า กรรมวิธีในการก่อสร้างงานสถาปัตยกรรมไทยด้วยคอนกรีตในปัจจุบันส่วนใหญ่

เป็นการผสมผสานระหว่างการปั้นข้นรูปเพ่อทาแบบหล่อ และหล่อช้นงานด้วยคอนกรีต โดยมีกรรมวิธีการทาแบบหล่อและ

กรรมวิธีการหล่อคอนกรีตท่ต่างกันไป โดยมากท่พบคือการใช้แบบหล่อซีเมนต์ (พิมพ์โขก) และพิมพ์ซิลิโคลน โดยใช้การสืบทอด
