Abstract
The court is a type of building that has a functional and building style that important to the overall
picture of the country. It also needs answers to represent designs related to Thai architecture. This research
article studies the design of court buildings with theories related to Thai architecture. case study: the supreme
court. There is a research methodology by collecting information about Thai architecture. From various sources
including books, researches, knowledge from experts on Thai architecture Arranged in a conceptual framework.
Which in order to make it clear, therefore studied the history of The Supreme Court in the past to the present
According to the study, there are 8 theories related to Thai architecture: 1) Fundamentals of Thai architectural
identity 2) Architectural Configuration 3) Architectural Composition, Form and Scale / Proportion 4) Architectural
Features and Refinement 5) History of architecture 6) Materials and construction methods 7) Architecture type
8) Definition of Thai. They were analyzed to find theories related to Thai architecture that appeared on the
court building.
