บริษัท บางกอกคริสตัล จำกัด (ช้างแก้ว ) ร่วมกับนิตยสาร art4d จัดโครงการประกวดออกแบบเชิงทดลอง Bangkok Crystal Experimental Design Competiiton 2018 ภายใต้หัวข้อ PLAY ซึ่งจากโจทย์ที่เปิดกว้างและไม่จำกัดเทคนิคซึ่งท้าทายมุมมองที่เรามีต่อบล็อกแก้วนี้เอง ที่ทำให้เราได้เห็นความหลากหลายของแนวคิดที่ถูกส่งเข้ามาร่วมประกวดทั้งจากสาขาสถาปัตยกรรม การออกแบบภายใน การออกแบบผลิตภัณฑ์ หรือแม้กระทั่งการออกแบบกราฟิก โดยภายในงานตัดสินผลงานรอบสุดท้ายและการประกาศผลรางวัลที่จัดขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 17 พฤศจิกายน 2561 ที่ผ่านมา นอกจากเราจะสัมผัสได้ถึงบรรยากาศของความคิดสร้างสรรค์จากผลงานทั้ง 10 ชิ้น ที่อบอวลอยู่ภายในสถานที่จัดงานอย่าง W District แล้ว งานนี้นิสิต นักศึกษาที่ส่งผลงานเข้าประกวดยังได้มีโอกาสรับฟังความคิดเห็นเพื่อนำไปต่อยอดความคิดของตนเองจากคณะกรรมการผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิในวงการออกแบบด้วย ได้แก่ ผศ.บุญเสริม เปรมธาดา สถาปนิกจาก Bangkok Project Studio ศาวินี บูรณศิลปิน สถาปนิกจาก Thingsmatter ภิรักษ์ อนุรักษ์เยาวชน ช่างภาพสถาปัตยกรรมจาก Spaceshift Studio มงคล พงศ์อนุตรี กรรมการผู้จัดการ บริษัท คอร์ปอเรชั่น โฟร์ดี จำกัด (art4d) และ วีรยศ จุฬเกตุ ผู้จัดการส่วนขายและการตลาดจาก บริษัท บางกอกคริสตัล จำกัด
